The Missingno Glitch{Red and Blue only} - The missingno glitch allows you to multiply an item into 150 items. You choose the item that you wish to have multiplied. I suggest master balls, rare candy, PP UP, HP UP, and moonstones. All things that there are a limited amount of. Make sure that you have the item with you, a poke'mon that knows fly, and a poke'mon that knows surf. Go to Viridian City. Talk to the man at the top of the city. When he asks you if you are in a hurry, say no. After he "teaches you to catch a poke'mon, move the item you wish to have multiplied into the sixth slot. Do this by pressing select while on the item you wish to move. Move to the slot where you want it and hit select again. After it has been moved to the sixth slot, fly to Cinnibar Island. Go surf up and down the coast on the right. You will soon incounter a poke'mon. It will be wierd looking and distorted. Beat or run from the poke'mon. DO NOT CATCH THE POKE'MON. I REPEAT, DO NOT CATCH THE POKE'MON. It may cause your saved game to be erased. After you beat the poke'mon, look at you item. If it has a wierd symbol by it, that means it worked.

Safari Zone Glitch{Red and Blue only} - This is very similar to the missingno glitch. It lets you catch Safari Zone poke'mon, outside of the Safari Zone. They cannot run, and youy can damage them. Go to the Safari Zone. Walk around in the area of the poke'mon you want to be able to catch. After your time runs out, fly to Cinnibar Island. Surf up and down the coast on the right. Poke'mon from the Safari Zone will appear. Keep surfing up and down the coast and you will keep seeing Safari poke'mon. Use this trick to catch rare Safari poke'mon like, Scyther, Pinsir, Tauros, Chansey, and Kangaskhan.

Mewtwo, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres Glitch- This is the exact same as the Safari zone glitch. While in the Unknown Dungeon, Sefoam Islands, Power Plant, or Victory Road use dig, teleport, or escape rope. Fly to Cinnabar and surf up and down the coast. You can sometimes find these very rare pokemon.
